At Chilkat Child Daycare we put family first. We understand how important quality child care is to you. Let us put you at ease by knowing your children will be safe, cared for and loved while in our care. We communicate with you to provide the best quality child care possible.
Unlike other local daycare's Chilkat Child Daycare is the only facility that offers care on Saturdays as well as extended evening and overnight care.
First and foremost, we believe that children should have fun! Children grow so quickly, they should be able to enjoy this short unburdened part of their lives. We believe children often learn best through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. We treat every child as an individual and each child will be respected as such. We strive to create an environment at Chilkat Child Daycare that is welcoming and promotes mutual respect, reasoning, exploration, questions and imagination. We respect each child’s need for love, acceptance, security, positive encouragement and stimulation.
Our goal is to make Chilkat Child Daycare a safe, happy place where children can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace, while developing respect for people and property along with a strong sense of self-esteem.
Chilkat Child Daycare is licensed under provider Alexis Trout to care for children between the ages of birth to 12 years. The provider is licensed to care for no more than 10 children at one time with an assistant caregiver present. Child care services are available without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.
